Meet MoLo: Garrett Doherty

Garrett Doherty joined the MoLo family in July 2019 and became a Manager in Carrier Sales that fall. Since then, he’s fostered a fun, hardworking environment for the Southeast Carrier Sales team. One of his teammates noted that they appreciate the way that Garrett “continues to teach us and even learn from us, which is a true quality of leadership.”  

Garrett is no stranger to the industry, and he makes an effort to keep his team nimble, despite constant fluctuations. “This industry is always changing, and it can be unpredictable, but I’ve been challenging my team to face each month like it’s brand new. I want them to be flexible instead of getting stuck in their ways,” Garrett said.  

In the office, Garrett’s team is hard to miss. They play their favorite music, cheer each other on, and keep things light. “Going remote in 2020, I had to lead my team in a different environment and find creative ways to encourage them and keep them motivated without the incredible energy of the office.” 

Working with other teams, Garrett appreciates the countless members of the MoLo family who go above and beyond to keep things running smoothly. “One of my favorite things to do is celebrate team members across the company that are really stepping up and who make our lives easier. I always try to take time to thank them and to let their managers know that they’re doing a great job.”
