Meet MoLo: Chelsea Pickering

Meet Chelsea Pickering, this week’s MoLo MVP! Chelsea joined the MoLo family in January as a Customer Operations Representative and has already made a huge impact on the accounts that she works with. Learn more about Chelsea below! 

How did you come to MoLo? 

Early in my career, I worked as a flight attendant. It taught me so much about customer service and how to think on your feet—all skills that I use now in my role here as a Customer Operations Representative. In January, when I learned about the opportunity in the Customer Operations department at MoLo, I jumped at the chance. I knew that the lessons I learned as a flight attendant would serve me well in the logistics industry.  

How do you approach issues that arise as an Operations Rep?  

When I was a flight attendant, I learned firsthand how important it is to bring empathy to every situation. Traveling is stressful, and so is shipping—but taking the time to listen and understand all the sides of an issue is always worthwhile.  

What do you love about working at MoLo?  

Before I had my first interview at MoLo, I made sure to familiarize myself with our story and values. When I met so many members of the MoLo family during the interview process, I could tell that they didn’t just talk about our values, they actually lived by them—they were passionate about their work and the way we do things differently.  

What are your favorite MoLo values?  

Integrity always stands out to me as one of our values because it’s the way I try to live my life outside of work, too. If we say we’re going to do something, we’re going to follow through with it. I love the way that MoLo prioritizes our commitments, and so do the customers I get to work with every day.  

MoLo also promotes a tight-knit family culture, and I’ve found that to be true since my first day here. Whether I’ve been in the office or working remotely, everyone I’ve met at MoLo is welcoming, supportive, and passionate about what they do. 

How does it feel to be a MoLo MVP? 

I’m honored to be named an MVP by my coworkers! Every day I get to do a job that I love, and I’m surrounded by people that are equally passionate about the work we get to do. I’m driven by my connection to our values and I can’t wait to see where my career at MoLo takes me!
